Here’s Lokie, she is a three year old female German Sheppard She was beaten and left to be by her self from birth to when we got her. I seen her at a Pet-smart and fell in love, as I approached her she was barking at me, I could tell she was a full blood, and abused, the lady said! Now Lokie that’s not the way to get a home!!
I looked at the Lady and said I will take her, I did not have to wait for a back ground check, I’m well know through all of the stores, so as I was working on the fish system Karen and the Lady was doing the paper work. So I’m done the fish system it’s fixed! So I got to get Lokie, did not want to change her name, it fits her well!!
So she did not want to go with me at first, she kept pulling back to the Lady. I won the pull, we got inside the truck and off we went to her new home. I let her get to know me and trust me, she did just like I thought? I find out what she likes and likes to play with, she has a ball with a rope on it, what she will do is swing it and bounce it off her side to side just perfect to keep it going side to side! Man it’s funny!!!
I tested sometime later how she would attack, I was the one! I decided that I would not train her that way, make a lover out of her! and what a lover she is!!
As a small child I had a dog like this pulling me in a Radio Flyer Waggon that dog would turn every where my mom and dad would go. This would be much better then being in a wheelchair and having to be pushed, That Dog’s name was Bus! she was a big girl. Many Kids back in them days had Polio, my dad as the story go’s was told that is was much easier to have a dog pull me then push me all the time, so my dad got bus!
She lived many years and I learned to walk.
So Lokie is going to be a lover. . . .but make no mistake? she will let you know if someone is out there or at the door.
